From Andreas Vesal to today-500 years
Special exhibition from September 12, 2014
Interactive and immersive in the virtual world, this exhibition offers a journey through the eventful history of anatomy with its highs and lows. Here you can discover a selection of images, objects and testimonies from the past and present, between art and science, between medicine and society. The focus is on the work of the physician Andreas Vesalius (1514-1564), one of the founders of modern anatomy, whose 500th birthday is being celebrated in 2014. From old works to the latest imaging technologies, anatomical specimens and virtual installations, you are invited to walk through the many mirrors of our inner body.
